Amy and Jonathan are the kind of sweet people you just enjoy being around. So it was a sincere pleasure to perform their casual yet heartfelt ceremony Saturday afternoon. Especially knowing their story. It seems the couple married in Key West five years ago and all went beautifully … that is until the hurricane hit. As in Katrina. All their paperwork was lost on its way up the coast so … no wedding documentation or proof of the marriage! It took them awhile but they finally decided to get the union on record. And they couldn’t have picked a sunnier day. It was smiles all around as the happy couple was joined by friends, Melanie and Wendell (with their little one) at the Festive Heart cottage. Congratulations, Amy and Jon! May your love stay as sweet as it is today.
