What could be sweeter than a cookie baking bridal shower? I was lucky enough to help plan one for last Saturday. After favorite recipes were chosen from cookbooks and guest contributions, the hostess created colorful recipe sheets for each guest as a souvenir of the fun afternoon. Plates, tissue and cell wrap were provided so each chef could create their own fresh-baked cookie package to take home. To keep things organized and flowing smoothly, directions were posted and stations were created for each step: mixing, baking, cooling, decorating and wrapping. And, of course, there was plenty of food and wine to enjoy during the creative process. “How Well Do You Know the Bride?” questions were posted around the kitchen to add to the fun in between bites. The party was a great success and made for a delicious day to remember.
Jane,
Your help was invaluable in making the space look so welcoming and festive, and in organizing what was a recipe for chaos! The party went over so smoothly, in large part to your great organizational skills. Thanks so much. Victoria
